Along with Sun Life Direct, AXA holds a multitude of subsidiary companies that operate all over the world. Sun Life Direct specifically caters to folks that are over fifty years of age. They offer a variety of policy options that satisfies all sorts of needs and budgets.

The first policy offered by the company is what they call the Guaranteed Over 50 Plan. Aside from providing a full lump sum payment after 2 years in the program (policy holders who die during the first 2 years of enrollment will be paid back with all the premiums paid and half of the cash sum), one of the best features of this program is that it provides guaranteed approval. Folks with certain medical conditions need not worry about passing medical examinations just to be accepted for a life insurance policy.

Sun Life Direct also has a life insurance policy that deals with the funeral arrangements of policy holders. In a program called Funeral Plan, members wouldn’t need to worry about funeral arrangements at such a difficult time. As the name implies, this is a very simple program that allows users to set how much cover they’d want and for how long. This plan is perfect for those who want coverage for only a limited amount of time. Another benefit of the EasyCover plan is that it also has a lot of added features that are specific for cases that may involve a terminal illness or some sort of accident for the policy holder.

Special Schemes

The last of the five available plans offered by Sun Life Direct is the Bonus CashBuilder Plus program. This life insurance plan is fixed for a fifteen year period. The main difference is that with this program, the paid premiums are invested in the company’s ‘With Profits Fund.’ This simply means that beneficiaries will be able to enjoy a considerably larger payout at the end of the term.
